Stool and breath testing. We look at your gut microbiome, check for infections, assess digestive function, and screen for bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Worth considering for bloating, irregular bowel movements, food sensitivities, or digestive discomfort that won't quit.

Usually, yes. Blood work is our starting point for a reason. It covers a lot of ground in one draw. Specialty testing works best when it's aimed at something blood work, your symptoms, or your history already pointed to.
Which specialty test is right for me? +
That depends on what is going on. Bloating, irregular bowel movements, or food sensitivities usually point toward gut testing. Fatigue and brain fog that started after a move or a water leak usually point toward mold testing. Flushing, hives, headaches, or a racing heart usually point toward histamine and mast cell testing. Fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, or sleep issues usually point toward DUTCH hormone testing. We'll walk through your picture with you and order what actually fits.
How much does specialty testing cost? +
It depends on the panel, so we don't post a flat price here. We'll confirm the exact cost with you before anything gets ordered. You'll always know the number before you commit.
Do you order all four tests at once? +
No. Specialty testing is targeted, not a shotgun. We order based on what your blood work, symptoms, and history point to. Sometimes that's one test. Occasionally two. Never the whole list just to see.
Do you take insurance for specialty testing? +
We don't bill insurance directly. We provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement depending on your benefits, and we accept HSA and FSA.
Do I have to be an existing patient to order specialty testing? +
Usually we get here after we've already looked at your blood work, symptoms, and history together. If you're brand new, we'll typically start with a visit and comprehensive blood work first, then add specialty testing if something points that way.
